Stunning blooms, dramatic lighting, elegant chair covers, inventive seating chart displays – it’s all in the details when it comes to wedding décor. Styling your soiree with the right blend of floral, décor and design elements can bring your wedding day vision to life!

But the truth is, wedding décor planning requires hard work. It is easy to become overwhelmed in a sea of Pinterest boards, and the cost of all those small details can quickly add up. So how can you nail down the details without consuming your décor budget?

First things first, pick your venue. The venue you select will play a significant role in your wedding décor and design budget. Empty or drab venues, for example, offer a blank slate for you to incorporate your décor theme. However, transforming these boring spaces into a beautiful reception - covering eyesores, adding lighting, furniture to fill void, can become time consuming and expensive.

Resist ‘gilding the lily’ & simplify decor in an already well-designed space. Choosing a beautiful venue for your reception sets the tone for your entire event.  You can minimize your décor budget by simplifying. Add a few, key personalized details - table linens to match your color scheme, DIY chalkboard or a framed seating chart display.

How much should you spend on flowers? Wedding floral arrangements and décor are stunning and impactful. In an inherently, beautiful reception hall, floral designs can be simplified by using smaller and simpler table centerpieces, alternating tall and short flower arrangements, or opting on one unforgettable statement piece with candlelight accents.
