Our Beginning
Betrothed Boutique and Modern Bloom took root in founder Kristy’s hometown Oconomowoc in 2008. The shops located at 203 E. Wisconsin Avenue, carried a wide variety of prom dresses, bridal gowns, accessories, tuxedo and linen rentals. The downtown shops started small, with Kimball and her team creating custom floral and bridal designs for weddings throughout Wisconsin.
“Kristy understood my vision and created gorgeous floral that no one that attended our wedding will ever forget.”

Throughout the past two decades, Kristy’s Modern Bloom floral and bridal designs have been featured in hundreds of publications throughout the years, including Premier Bride, Milwaukee Life Style Magazine and Wisconsin Bride; and showcased at events, such as the Milwaukee Art Museum's annual Art in Bloom, Wonderful World of Weddings. In 2017, Kristy was honored to be chosen to design the floral arrangement for the awards table at the Erin Hills, U.S. Open Championship. View Our Projects →

GRAND OPEN
After full renovations and a complete redesign, Chivaree on Park held it’s Grand Open on October 13, 2018. Kristy selected the venue for it’s family and community roots of celebration, and remembers learning to polka with her Grandmother at the hall years ago.
